What weekdays have been waiting for...
Gin has Graphic and its Juniper Society, and now tequila is getting the same treatment as El Camion, Soho, launches its Tequila Tuesdays on 24 July.
The event will take place in the basement bar, named Pink Chihuahua after Dick Bradsell's iconic concoction, and will be held every Tuesday from 7.30pm. Each evening will focus on tequila and food pairing, talks from tequila experts and will end with a chance to taste a particularly special bottle of the agave spirit, tickets will cost £25.
For the inaugural Tequila Tuesday, the expert in question will be Olmeca Altos' Matthias Lattaile, who will take guests through a tasting flight and masterclass, before a Mexican dinner served with the brand's blanco and reposado tequilas is served, with a freshly-opened bottle of D'Antaño Añejo poured out as a digestif. Tickets also buy guests membership of El Camion's Tequila Club and therefore access to their brand-spanking new (and deeply impressive) tequila cabinet.
