Waverley TBS goes into administration
On-trade drinks giant Waverley TBS went into administration yesterday.
The company, which employs about 830, was bought from Heineken by equity group Manfield Partners in 2010. The firm has said that Waverley is the victim of tough trading conditions in the UK on-trade.
Waverley will continue to trade while administrators Deloitte attempt to find a buyer for the company. 'We are in negotiations with a number of interested parties who are keen to acquire the company,' said Deloitte's Daniel Butters.
