Closing date: 1 May 2020
The annual Meister Hunter competition has been overhauled following the coronavirus crisis, and will now run online
The prize fund of £5,000 will be shared between three winning bartenders (first prize £3,000, second place £1,500, and third place £500).
To enter, share your (at home) cocktail style in a video entry via your personal Instagram account -the cocktail must have a minimum of 35ml of Jägermeister, Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee, or Manifest. The judges will be looking for 'flair, creativity and fun.'
The post must include a photo of the finished cocktail, its name and specs and entries must tag and follow @meisterhunter as well as @jagermeisteruk and use the hashtag #meisterhunter.
Entrants also will need to agree to have their video uploaded to the @meisterhunter Instagram feed.
Ten finalists will be announced on the Meister Hunter Instagram page and the final will be held in mid-May. Finalists will be sent a mystery box of ingredients locked with a code so they can’t peek. One hour before the final is to begin, bartenders will each be sent a code to unlock the box and they can use any ingredients from it to make their final Jägermeister cocktail.
The final will be live streamed on social media.
Mast-Jaegermeister UK Brand Ambassador, Florian Beuren said: 'This year we were faced with a challenge that we never could have anticipated, but it was important for us to move forward with the Meister Hunter competition and create a platform that would support the bartender community.’
