Closing date: 1 Jul 2019
Jägermeister is bringing back its Meister Hunter competition for a second year.
London: 30 July
Birmingham: 20 August
Leeds: 28 August
Edinburgh: 3 September
London: 2-3 October
In keeping with last year's competition, participants will be personally invited to compete. But this time around, there will also be one wildcard spot available in each region, for which any bartender nationwide can also enter to compete at the semi-final heats.
These semi-final rounds will take place in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh, with successful semi-finalists invited to compete at their closest location. And for the ultimate victor, the spoils are sweet: the 2019 winner will get £3,000 and the opportunity to become a member of the brand’s 'Hubertus Circle'. They'll also receive a bespoke PR programme to take their profile to the next level. Second and third place winners won't go home empty-handed, either – they'll receive £1,000 and £500, respectively.
Keen on entering? Here's how: create a serve comprising a minimum of 25ml Jägermeister or Jägermeister Manifest, plus two items from the following categories: eggs, garden, herbs, beer, sodas, jams, orchard fruits or teas, a citrus or sugar, plus an additional spirit of your choosing. The recipe should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, accompanied by a picture, a name and a method. A panel of Jägermeister judges will consider all entries and announce the top 10 competitors through to each semi-final heat in July.
Jägermeister Meister Hunter entries will be accepted until 1 July, with the semi-finalists from each region, including the wildcards, announced on 15 July.
