Following the success of the inaugural At-Home Masterclass, offering wine lovers the chance to learn more about single grape varietals planted in three locations across the world, Armit Wines have launched a new case and taste-along videos focussed on Chardonnay and Bordeaux Blends.

Armit’s second At-Home Masterclass is an educational way to still enjoy wine tasting from the comfort of your own home. Learn more about how Chardonnay and Bordeaux Blends can have immensely different flavour profiles and styles from a range of producers from across the globe.

The Masterclass selection has been curated by Armit’s Master Sommelier, Nicolas Clerc, who says: “Chardonnay and Bordeaux can be considered some of the most recognisable and influential references of the wine world. In their French forms they defined, for decades, what fine wine lovers were savouring and collecting. So much so that both styles were swiftly replicated around the world. Having both overcome a dip in popularity, we are witnessing a long-overdue interest in both categories. A classic never really goes out of style.”

Nicolas will guide viewers through different three expressions of Chardonnay to show how the variation in terroir and winemaking produce startling differences in the wines.

Bordeaux’s influence has been unparalleled across the globe, with inspired blends being the core of fine wine regions from the USA to Australia and some of the biggest names in the fine-wine world.
