Cognac house Frapin will be hosting a speed dating style event aiming to demystify and democratise Cognac on 28 November.
The event will see participants split into three groups which will each spend 45 minutes at the following stations.
The first station will be a cognac masterclass with Patrice Piveteau, Cognac Frapin's cellarmaster. The talk will focus on the history of the house, before moving on to a range of tastings.
The second station will be a history of cognac cocktails with Steve Crozier from Hawksmoor. Along with his colleague Phil Duffy, Crozier has created a whistle stop tour examining cognac's role in cocktail history. The history of cognac cocktails and suggested serves will be explored.
The final station will feature cognac educator Michelle Brachet, looking at cognac flavour combinations. Brachet will guide attendees through a selection of contrasting cognac styles produced by Frapin.
