68 and Boston, 4-5 Greek St, London, W1D 4DD
The Fitou appellation along with Sud de France and AOC Languedoc Wines are hosting a tasting in the heart of London on Monday 12 of September from 10am to 5pm.
Sommelier Baptiste Ross-Bonneau, from Hôtel de la Cité in Carcassonne, will be pouring a selection of the best wines from the Fitou appellation. Fitou has undergone a dramatic transformation in quality over the past decade, with terroir-driven wines now seen at all price points.
Visitors to 68 and Boston can expect an eclectic selection of 12 of the best wines from the appellation, selected by a panel of Languedoc wine experts. Highlights include Domaine Lérys Cuvée Adrienne 2014, Caves du Mont-Tauch Hommage 2013 and Château des Erles 2013.
Ross-Bonneau says: 'In essence, Fitou offers complexity, tenderness and depth of flavour, with key stylistic differences seen across the region.'
