Gourmet Syrian supper club in aid of Action for Education

Award-winning chef Ben Spalding, formerly of The Fat Duck and The Ledbury, will be cooking up a storm for a good cause.

On 8 February, Spalding and a team of 'foodie social entrepreneurs' from Impact Hub Islington will be putting on a feast, while Elysia Catering will supply the aperitifs and Laila Naanaa will be on desserts.

The three-course gourmet experience will be accompanied by a selection of French wines supplied by Family Helfrich, the premium independents and on-trade arm of leading French wines producer, Groupe GCF.

During the evening, Action for Education founder Nick Millet will share the story of his work providing emergency education for children and young people in the refugee camps on the Greek island of Chios.
