Tobacco Dock, Tobacco Quay, Wapping Lane, London, E1W 2SF United Kingdom
Wines of South Africa presents its new Intrepid South Africa tasting, a trade tasting featuring over 1,000 wines from more than 100 producers.
Taking place on 8 September at Tobacco Dock, it will also feature nine stations that, put together, create a tasting trail. Each station will have 18 wines available for tasting. You will be able to follow the trail along the room, and meet winemakers as you go, as they will regularly be present at stations to talk visitors through each theme. The themes are: Chenin Blanc, off-beat reds, Pinotage, transformation, white blends, red blends, off-beat whites, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. You can find out more on the website.
There will also be two tasting stations where the all 18 wines will be available to taste blind – and some wines from other countries will be included in the stations, so visitors can sample and guess the intruders.
The full list of wineries exhibiting is available online.
