The UK Sommelier Association is hosting a Japanese saké tasting on 25 September in central London.
The second annual UK masterclass will explore the five different regions of saké, covering the 'main character' of each region. The tasting will provide an opportunity for sommeliers, bar managers and on-trade professionals to taste a variety of unique sakés, identifying the tastes from each region.
The masterclass will be lead by saké sommelier Jonathan Beagle, who has been head sommelier at some of London's top restaurants. Beagle also teaches the saké module of the UKSA certified sommelier course.
The masterclass costs £40 per person, and can be booked online. All attendees will be given a certificate of attendance following the session.
