Back for a third year, Tequila and Mezcal Fest celebrates Mexico's most-loved liquid exports.
Taking place on the 17 and 18 September, the event is the UK's only festival dedicated exclusively to showcasing the best of agave.
The Saturday/Sunday will be broken up into two sessions, afternoon (12pm-4:30pm/11:30am-4:30pm) and evening (5pm-9:30pm/4:30pm-9pm), with tickets costing £15/£12.50.
As the festival's main sponsor, Patrón Tequila will be offering visitors the chance to try its tequilas, be transported to the Highlands of Jalisco with its latest digital technology, learn about tequila production, and the have the opportunity to buy and try the 'Margarita of The Year 2016' – the Rosa Picante.
Brand ambassadors and bartenders will hold seminars and masterclasses throughout the day on Mexican cocktail making, with brands in attendance including: Olmeca, Casco Viejo, Herradura, Ocho, Fortaleza, El Jolgorio, Mezcales de Leyenda and Mezcal Amores.
Fentimans will also join as the official mixer sponsor, creating two signature cocktails – one with Peloton de la Muerte mezcal and the other Patrón.
Mexican cuisine supplied by Barrio Bars, Lupita, Camion, Cafe Pacifico, Condesa and Wahaca will feature at the festival, along with a mariachi band, folklore dancers, an Aztec ceremony performance and an art and photographic exhibition dedicated to the agave process.
