Wine Australia's Tasting Blind Club

Australia House, Strand, London, WC2B 4LA United Kingdom

The new season of Wine Australia opens in September, returning to Australia House to welcome sommeliers, educators, wine students and press to taste up to 20 Australian wines blind, flighted by region.

Participants can also answer a list of questions identifying some of the wines' features; with the season's most successful taster winning a trip to Australia.

Regional Director Laura Jewell MW said the Tasting Blind Club provides a 'fantastic opportunity' to share the Australian wine message in an informal environment.

'It’s a fun way to get serious about Australian wine, with our guests increasingly viewing our tastings and questions as a way to learn about Australia as well as network with their trade colleagues,' she said.

The Blind Clubs are open to anyone in the trade; contact Emma Symington to register your attendance and gain entry into Australia House.

2015 dates are 14 September, 12 October, 9 November and 14 December. 2016 dates TBA.
