Fifty importers and 21 exporters seeking UK distribution will present their Spanish wine portfolios to visitors and showcase the diversity and versatility of Spain’s wine offering. Visitors will be able to taste over 1,300 Spanish wines from 69 DOs, including the latest releases and vintages from classic and emerging regions.

Two feature tastings will be open to visitors from 10.30am to 6pm:

Indie & On-Trade ‘Star Buys’
Exhibitors pick their star wine for the independent and on-trade sector. From entry level to premium wines, indigenous to international varietals, this self-pour tasting will showcase the highlights from this year’s fair.

The New Spanish Benchmarks
This tasting will highlight the plethora of varieties and styles that make up the next generation of Spanish wines. From the cool North West to the warm Levant, visitors will be able to discover the wines which best represent the new ‘face’ of Spain.

MASTERCLASSES

2pm Fine, Rare and Aged Sherry - presented by Beltrán Domecq
A distinguished Jerez winemaker, Beltrán Domecq is President of the CRDO Jerez-Xérès-Sherry y Manzanilla de Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and author of Sherry Uncovered. Beltrán will present a selection of unique certified aged sherries at this year's fair.

4pm Winemaking evolution in Navarra
Join us for a masterclass in modern winemaking with a group of producers from one of Spain’s most dynamic regions, Navarra. We will be showcasing wines from eleven different bodegas, each with their own unique winemaking philosophy. The line-up will include examples made with indigenous as well as international varieties and give visitors a snapshot of how Navarra is constantly evolving to produce quality, premium offerings.

Masterclasses will take place throughout the day and explore some of Spain’s most iconic DOs. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on the day about 10-15 minutes before the start of each session.
