An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the UK's leading wine and spirit companies. They boast an impressive selection of well-recognised, award winning brands and are currently gearing up for a very exciting period of growth. With an enviable variety of Wines, Champagnes and Spirits already in their portfolio, and a number of exciting new brands soon to be added, this is a great opportunity to join a business at a very important time for them. They are now looking for a talented Business Development Executive in the Midlands.
As Business Development Executive your key responsibilities will be to:
* Have full ownership of customers within your region - key areas incl. Birmingham, Leicester & Nottingham
* Be responsible for a mixture of premium on-trade independents and small group accounts
* Deliver best in class activations and events for your core customers
* Develop listings with your existing customers as well as prospect new target accounts
* Build relationships with regional RTM teams to identify leads and help secure new business
* Be an active part of the bar scene - networking and growing your presence across your patch!
To be considered for this opportunity ideally you will have experience selling beers, wines, spirits or soft drinks into the on-trade channel. Those with a background in hospitality looking to progress into a sales role in the industry may be considered as well as individuals with strong sales pedigree from other industries. You will be energetic, enthusiastic and keen to develop your career within the alcohol industry!
