First Line Manager Production - Belle-Vue

The First Line Manager Production is part of the Production Management team of Belle-Vue and is responsible for the optimal functioning of the brewing- and packaging department. He/She reports to the Brewing & Packaging manager Belle-Vue. The First Line Manager coordinates, motivates and coaches the team in order to achieve set KPIs and departemental objectives with respect to safety, service towards other departments and the quality of the finished product. These need to be realised at optimal cost, productivity and with the VPO production standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Focus on safety in the Belle-Vue, identifies and takes action to resolve unsafe circumstances and prevents incidents

  • Organise, coordinate and follow up of the production in the warm block, cold block, filtration and packaging

  • Collaborates towards the identification of improvement plans of the brewery

  • Assures performance as set in daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and communicates improvement actions

  • Motivates the team to achieve the set KPIs

  • Evaluates on regular basis the training programs of all team members and registers them by using the existing tools

  • Executes (together with the maintenance department) root cause analysis to tackle the root cause of problems, identifies and executes the correct process adaptations when necessary

  • Owns the personnel planning, including the arrangement of replacement of absent employees in the next shift

  • Supports the implementation of innovations and improvement actions

  • Part of and support of key projects
