It's an exciting time for the brand as we live up to our brand positioning by stirring the creativity of bartenders and consumers all over the world. This role is crucial to help us achieve our aims.
As the Global Brand Ambassador, you will be the leading expert on the brand and a key representative of Stir Creativity. You will embody and represent the brand image and values externally and internally. You will collaborate closely with global and local brand teams as well as customer marketing to drive usage and recommendation of Bombay with key influencers, primarily in the On Trade channel but also via a variety of PR-driven initiatives. Your deep knowledge of the Brand and your ability to communicate with and influence people will be key to your success in this role.
You will be the visible face of the brand in consumer and trade media and will represent the brand at key trade events globally.
You will develop relationships with key stakeholders in the On Trade channel (i.e. Bartenders and Bar Owners) and influence the positioning of Bombay globally.
You will own and be able to influence the Top 50 Global "gin fluencers" to the benefit of Bombay
You will be the in-house brand and trade expert and will support the Global Brand team on channel strategy, brand and advocacy plans.
You will drive local implementation of Global Brand Advocacy programming as part of the annual planning cycle, in particular around brand training programmes for local Brand and Trade Ambassadors.
The role is based in London, UK, and requires interaction with top 1% trade influencers and local Brand Ambassadors across key strategic cities for Bombay. As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all stakeholders. You should expect to spend up to 70% of your time travelling in various markets.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
Drive results and excellence in execution
Delivers on key brand advocacy KPIs (eg bartender recommendation) by creating market leading advocacy programs and assets that are deployed through the IAP process
Embodies and represents the brand and its values in key trade/consumer events and shows
Builds and deploys Global Brand training programs
Trains and Mentors local Brand Ambassadors on brand, category and trends
As expert on the brand, advises Brand and Customer Marketing teams in defining how we show up in the on trade: Drink Strategy, PoS (AVA), etc
Develop talent and capability
Together with Global Advocacy and Commercial team, own and embed the Advocacy capabilities to build the organization's capacity to deliver year on year value growth and KPI improvements.
Build a learning organization by creating a "share, steal and reapply" culture that systematically builds a Global database of Brand Advocacy best practices.
Input to Global Brand strategies and planning/programming as the brand expert and "voice" of the top end trade
"Mentoring" role - consulting to local BA's and providing input to their network and capability development
Create a winning team
Contribute to a shared sense of purpose across Global and Local Brand and Customer Marketing teams
Recognize accomplishments and behaviors in a timely manner

Critical experiences for success
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
Recent practical experience working in/for an internationally recognized top mixology account
Strong communication and influencing skills
Must be a motivated, energetic self-starter. Comfortable with autonomy but also happy integrated into a corporate brand team.
Must be an "influencer" - meaning having a personal network of contacts across 1% trade in key cities for us: London, New York, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona - a broader global network is a plus.
Active social media presence with a large number of engaged followers is an advantage
Presentation (charisma). Must be a superstar presenter and also comfortable with media (although media training will be provided)
Project and budget management - the role will require leading projects such as: education roll-out, drinks strat evolution, support to brand initiatives etc that require high organisational skills
Stakeholder management - "leadership" of global ambassador community and driving local uptake of global initiatives.
Mentorship (and training, support) - to ambassador community
Proficiency in English language skills
Willingness/ability to spend up to 70% of your time away from home.
