Infrastructure Project Manager Supply
Purpose of the Job
Shape, manage and be responsible for European Supply IT projects from the Infrastructure perspective
Contribute to the IT infrastructure architecture & solution portfolio in line with the Global Solution Inventory (GSI)
Deliver and Manage infrastructure related projects in respective area (TechSupply)
Establishes linkage with Europe Infrastructure Operation team, Infrastructure System owners, Application Project team and Business stakeholders to understand infrastructure needs and provide appropriate solutions
Shapes adequate IT infrastructure solution for local, zone or European infrastructure initiatives
Manages implementation of infrastructure plans respecting quality assurance aspects and project methodology
Jointly with architecture team validates solutions proposed by suppliers
Scope covers Europe and global solutions roll-outs towards Europe
Manage expectations towards stakeholders and change management aspects for the resp. project scopes (IS/IT services, AS/IT services, Business)
Verifies, negotiates and assures correct pricing for technologies offered by suppliers
Integrates new services that are not yet covered in the outsourcing contracts, in collaboration with the service managers and contract managers
Reviews and assists in defining new processes for new transformed services.
Qualifications & Experience
Master computer science degree (or equivalent through experience)
Demonstrable experience in designing custom, complex enterprise solutions across various architecture domains
Deep knowledge of solution architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices.
Advanced understanding of IT industry trends, enterprise standards and methodology
Experience of structuring and facilitating the process of innovation within an IT function
Datacenter architecture principles basic knowledge, experience with MS Azure or AWS is a plus
Understanding of solution lifecycle, and usage of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
Knowledge and experience in ABAP and/or Java programming languages, C# is a plus
Experience of working with development toolsets and frameworks (e.g. .NET)
Considered an advantage: Demonstrable experience of working with SAP PP, PM, MM, various EAM systems, mobile applications development, and integration technologies (MuleSoft, SAP PO, ...)
