Key Account Manager - National retail customers

KAM is a key position in delivering our significant channel growth ambition by bringing energy, innovation and results. Proactively managing our relationships with Key customers to deliver category and brand growth, bring game changing innovation to market and make sure that ABI beers and ciders are available for all consumers to experience - whatever the occasion!
In this role, the Key Account Manager will build and manage a Joint Business Plan as well as all aspects of the customer contact strategy supporting our Key Account Manager team. You will become an expert of the customer's business in order to identify growth opportunities both for BBG and the customer. You will visit frequently our customers to convert our plan into reality, adapting to feedback.
It is essential that the right person has the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally in order to get the job done. Communication, flexibility and adaptability are essential in the complex world of the UK market.
A key position within the Off Trade Retail sales team, you will be responsible for delivering the account plan with the #2 and #3 Retail accounts in the UK. You will have joint ownership of your customer P&L along with the Key Account Team and simultaneously, have internal opportunities to be proactively involved in key projects that will deliver our channel growth dream.
The right KAM will be a BBG Ambassador, passionate about our Brands and capable of taking the customer on a journey with a strong brand sell. You will be responsible for implementing innovative brand activation plans that execute our brand assets with excellence within the convenience channel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of our relationship with our most important clients
Deliver budgeted top line Net revenue & commercial results
Manage the customer P&L, Investment reconciliation and tracking process
Maintain account performance tracking processes e.g. Market Share, Distribution
Plan, Negotiate, Implement & Deliver against customer Joint Business Plan
Production of business reviews of performance metrics
Analysis of customer sales data to drive insight and recommendations to support the account plan.
Own and deliver commercial and promotional plan
Own and deliver annual activation plan
Develop a strong network of working relationships across the key customer(s)
Proactively manage contact strategy for all key contacts
