Reporting to the Digital Director, North America, we have a newly created role for a Paid Social Manager to join our agile, creative and resourceful team, merging the art and science of paid media and creative content to optimize campaigns and drive tangible business results across 3-4 US brands.

Based in our New York Offices and working hand and hand with the Central Media Team (CMT), the role will be wide and varied which means you will be liaising with a large number of both internal and external (e.g. media and creative agency) stakeholders, therefore exceptional communication skills will be key.


  • Creative and Media Management:
  • Manage paid Facebook and Instagram media, buying, tagging, optimization, and reporting for up to 3-4 brands (equivalent to $4M - $8M of annual media spend)

  • Plan campaign strategies and tactics closely with the Central Media Team and media and creative agency partners

  • Collaborate with media agency planning teams to incorporate all Facebook and Instagram specific media plans and insights into holistic media deliverables (i.e. plans, reports, etc.) that are regularly provided to brand teams

  • Lead and manage daily media optimizations, collaborating with creative agencies to lead creative optimization process

  • Manage a team of 1-2 Paid Social Associates

  • Measurement, Data and Analytics:

  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform planning and optimization for future media and content strategies

  • Creation and execution of yearly brand testing agendas, reviewing them quarterly

  • Testing and analysis of Facebook and Instagram performance metrics, using internal social analytics and ROI measurement tools to optimize performance and meet business objectives

  • Presenting all relevant and notable learnings to Central Media Team, to feed into portfolio social strategy and test and learn agendas

  • Incorporate all key creative takeaways and corresponding insights within weekly social reporting delivered directly to brand teams (concise, visual, data-driven and actionable)

  • Global Ways of Working:

  • Evangelize relevant and notable learnings, best practices and ways of working with other markets (i.e. APAC, EU, LAC, Africa), feeding into best practice tool kits

  • Evaluation and feedback on internal social media analytics tools

  • Regular Input on content and media tagging and reporting frameworks


  • At least 2-4 years of experience in digital or social; preferably directly managing paid social for a major consumer packaged goods or luxury brand

  • BA or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, business; preferably a degree in economics, mathematics or statistics

  • Expert Excel skills and a comfort with pivot tables

  • Experience in using social media analytics platforms such as Sprinklr or native channel analytics such as Facebook Insights/Business Manager


  • Knowledge, love and thirst for social data and the impact it can have on the business

  • Work with large data sets

  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail

  • Deep understanding of social media data caveats by channel and how these caveats can affect reporting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confidently lead debrief sessions, often to a senior audience

  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment

  • Energetic, relentless drive to succeed, TEAM player

  • Used to working with a variety of stakeholders and building relationships

  • Deal with a large volume of requests and know how to prioritize workload
