Reporting Manager UKI

Purpose of the Job

The Finance Reporting Manager is responsible for managing accounting and reporting activities for the UK business, according to internal /external accounting and reporting standards. This includes overseeing the operational activities performed to close the books on a regular periodic cycle and consolidating all the financial data as dictated by Global and local regulatory and statutory reporting.

Accountabilities

General Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Manage the processing of transactions and organisation's ongoing financial records by GCC (Service center), including general ledger transactions, provisions, bonus and pensions

  • Manage all operational activities performed to close the books on a regular periodic cycle (monthly, quarterly and yearly)

  • Assisting to prepare the financial statements under local statutory requirements

  • Compiling financial data for consolidation of corporate and business unit financial reports according with legal requirements and well as AB Inbev policies and procedures

  • Monitoring and forecasting cash flows and core working capital positions along with the CF manager

  • Ensure proper internal controls environment

  • Creating the budget for several P&L and BS lines

  • Review BS reconciliations on a monthly basis to access risks/opportunities

Other

  • Measure and demonstrate compliance with MICS and FEP (internal compliance programs)

  • Verify that appropriate action is taken where areas of non-compliance are identified (monitoring activities for continuous improvement)

  • Liaison with internal audit teams to ensure best practices are adhered to

    Qualifications and Technical competencies required

Education

  • University degree in Accounting, Economics, Business and related field required.

  • Qualification in relevant accounting profession (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or 5+ years experience in financial accounting role

Experience

  • Good business and commercial understanding

  • Experience in working in an ERP (SAP) and Cognos environment is a plus

  • Experience in working in a multi-national environment is a plus

  • Well developed accounting skills

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Good knowledge of IFRS is essential
