Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Angel's Envy

About the role

Responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound freight, including export, at Louisville

Distilling Co. (LDC) Liaises with internal and external customers, including LDC departments,

with regards to orders, deliveries and all necessary documentation.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Communicates with BUSA Coordinators on any issues pertaining to orders includingweights, ship dates or lack of sufficient information.

  • Liaises with contract freight carriers regarding the shipping of finished product from Louisville Distilling Co.

  • Prepares and reviews for accuracy all pick slips, warehouse manifests, and carrier scheduling.

  • Is the point of contact for shipping alcohol samples and is responsible for ensuring those shipments comply with all applicable laws.

  • Updates pallet, trailer, seal information, prints bills from SAP, and verifies accuracy for number of cases and weight.

  • Arranges with carriers for collection of designated loaded containers and live loads to avoid demurrage charges.

  • Maintains all record keeping within the Distribution and Receiving department, including an organized filing system for bills of lading.

  • Monitors inventory for availability.

  • Ensures all purchase order (PO) receipts are recorded accurately in SAP.

  • Works closely with suppliers on the delivery of inbound materials for the bottling line.

  • Prepares shipping schedules and delivery of goods based on the production schedule.

  • Inputs daily production in SAP.

  • Maintains all digital copies of daily production records.

  • Prepares on-line Shippers Export Declarations (SED) for all export shipments.

  • Works with other departments to complete monthly TTB paperwork.

  • Collects bi-monthly BOL for FET reports.

  • Act as point of contact for maintaining Master Data of new product implementation.

  • Is point of contact for new Special Blend - Barrel Program.

  • Performs any other job-related duties as requested by the management team in the shipping department.

Measures of success

Bottling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to Bottling

Efficiency, Right First Time, productivity, etc. are met or exceeded per departmental

targets.

Meet or exceed all departmental safety requirements including, but not limited to, completion of Safety Observations, participation on Safety Committee, etc.

Critical experiences for success

Minimum Education:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Minimum Experience:

  • 2-3 years experience in related field
