Suffolk-based brewer, distiller and cidermaker Adnams is tapping into the trend for low-abv drinks with the launch of its first low alcohol cider, Wild Wave.

The new product is the result of a collaboration between Adnams master brewer Fergus Fitzgerald and James Davis MW and has been made using English bittersweet and dessert apples from the Malvern Hills, in central England.

‘With James,’ said Fitzgerald, ‘we worked together to ensure the blend of heavy West Country cider with apple juice gives the true aromas, flavours and textures of a crisp English cider.’

Wild Wave follows the release of Adnams Ghost Ship 0.5% in July 2018. It will be available through Adnams as of 7 February.
