Bacardi's Jigger, Beaker, Glass tour lands in Glasgow

11 July 2017

Forget London, UK cities are finally getting the airtime and column inches they deserve.

Jigger, Beaker, Glass – with a bit of help from Bacardi Brown Forman Brands – is almost at the halfway point of its 2017 roster of events, which have taken place in Birmingham, Manchester and most recently, Leeds.

The touring industry workshops and seminars aimed at educating and inspiring bar folk have been helped along by the likes of JJ Goodman and Trash Tiki founders Iain Griffiths and Kelsey Ramage.

Glasgow is hosting the next session today with BBFB team and Marcis Dzelzainis, the mastermind of drinks at Sager and Wilde.

'There’s some really interesting stuff coming out of the less obvious cities in Scotland right now – with Glasgow being one of them, so we’re really looking forward to hosting our next Jigger, Beaker, Glass event there and helping to nurture the next generation of incredible Scottish bartenders,' Shervene Shahbazkhani, head of trade advocacy at Bacardi said.

In total, BBFB has partnered with 11 trade 'trail blazers' to inspire the bartending community.
