BBR's Kilby joins Armit Wines

Kirsten Kilby, a senior figure at Berry Brothers & Rudd is to leave the company to join Armit Wines.

Kilby was global chief marketing officer for BBR, and has been chief executive of the St James' merchant's wine division. She takes over as MD of Armit in October, replacing Mike Laing, who has held the post since 2012.

'I am delighted to be joining Armit,' said Kilby. '[It's] a company with a great vision for the future, solid foundations and a range of opportunities to make it all happen.'

Armit has a number of blue-chip exclusive agencies, including Ornellaia, Gaja and Domaine Leflaive. Last year it turned over £20m.
