The brewer is urging pub groups and independents to work with them on the campaign – an on-pack promotion that offers shoppers a free pint in a pub or bar
The offer is redeemable in all participating venues, not just its own bars, and will run on 2.6m off-trade packs off beer. It is launching today (Monday 24 August) and will run on packs until Saturday 31 October, with the chance for customers to claim their free pint in-outlet, by Saturday 12 December.
BrewDog is looking for pub groups and independents to sign up as participating venues. If you’d like to get involved, sign up today by contacting your local BrewDog sales manager or route-to-market wholesaler.
A unique code will be printed on packs of beer sold in the off-trade, which shoppers can redeem by entering the code into a dedicated website where they can also find all of the venues involved.
They will then receive an email, which can be taken to their local to receive and enjoy their free pint.
‘This campaign was conceived to support our beloved UK bars and pubs, encouraging consumers to get back to their favourite haunts for a fresh pint of Punk IPA, on BrewDog, in a safe way,’ said Dan Bolton, BrewDog’s UK sales director.
'As the largest craft brewery in the UK, our scale and strong category share in grocery and impulse perfectly places us to incentivise consumers back into our on-trade partners.'
The initiative will be promoted with a social media campaign and in-store activity.
