Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I has outlined plans to bring its drinks dispense service in-house.

The change, set to be implemented from 1 April 2020, will mean an end to the brewer’s five-year partnership with supplier Mitie. The company said that the move will bring around 80 technician roles into the business as well as ‘improved flexibility and reliability to its on-trade customers’.

James Rowe, sales operations director at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I said: ‘We are constantly looking at new ways we can improve our service to pubs and bars across the UK and are confident that aligning our dispense service in-house will ensure we are working to the highest standards. We would like to thank Mitie for our partnership as we extend our in-house capabilities, and we look forward to working even more closely with our customers.’

The in-house service will focus on 'quick response times' as well as providing customers with access to diagnostic tools and ‘more environmentally-friendly solutions’.
