Specialist spirits agency Mangrove has been named as the new UK distributors of Butterfly Brands-owned brands Skipper Rum and Davna Vodka.

The brands were previously owned and distributed by Marblehead Brand Development. The new distribution deal marks the final step in the acquisition process of Marblehead by Quintessential Brands, which was agreed in July 2014.

Ricky Agnew, managing director of Butterfly Brands said: 'The Marblehead team has done an excellent job with these brands, we now look forward to continued success with our new distribution partner, Mangrove.'

Nick Gillett, MD of Mangrove, said: 'We are delighted to be partnering with Butterfly Brands as their new distributor, Skipper Rum has an established following in the premium on-trade whilst Davna Vodka, with its high quality flavour range, offers a real point of difference in vodka.'
