East London's industry-favourite hangout Callooh Callay has announced that it will open a second location in Chelsea this October.

The news was first published on Instagram in a post from the new venue's account: 'With banging cocktails and endless fun, pass through the looking glass and sip the wonderfully weird taste for yourself. Think oysters, champagne and a whole lot of serious nonsense,' it read.

The new bar will be located on King's Road. It is expected to build on the Lewis Carroll-inspired theme of the original Rivington Street location, slinging the best-selling drinks from Callooh's previous bar menus.

This is not the first new addition to the Callooh Callay portfolio, however. In 2012, founder Richard Wynne opened nose-to-tail restaurant Beard to Tail, but shut down the operation in 2014. In 2016, he opened Callooh Callay sister bar Little Bat in Islington.

Callooh Callay Chelsea is set to launch 10 October.
