Leading Burgundian producer Château de Pommard is launching a series of three 90-minute long virtual experiences on the famous Route des Grands Crus

The three episodes will guide attendees along Burgundy’s renowned wine route, exploring the prestigious appellations of Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits.

The first leg of the journey will launch tomorrow, 15 April, and will involve a general deep dive into the diversity of the Côte d’Or. The second, which will be released on 6 May, will focus on the region’s best terroirs and on Burgundy's winemaking techniques. The third and final episode, launching on 27 May, is to centre on Burgundy’s iconic grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a selection of the estate's best Côte d’Or wines, with 15% of the sales being donated to Fondation Hôpitaux de France, which supports French public hospitals during the coronavirus crisis.

All episodes are free to attend, and will be led by WSET-trained wine advisors. To book a virtual place, visit the estate’s website.
