Following the launch in February 2020, the 2012 vintage Champagne house’s prestige rosé has now been introduced onto the UK market

The 2012 vintage, says Bollinger, is ‘one of the most anticipated vintages since the start of the 21st century’, making this Champagne a wine with good ageing potential.

‘There has been great anticipation around this wine, ever since the exclusive first taste back in February, and we are delighted that La Grande Année Rosé 2012 is now available to be enjoyed in the UK,’ commented director of Champagne Bollinger UK, Victoria Carfantan. ‘As usual, the wine perfectly embodies the knowledge and expertise of Bollinger’s winemaking team and is a truly gastronomic champagne.’

La Grande Année Rosé is made with La Grande Année as a base, blended with the house’s red wine from La Côte aux Enfants.

The 2012 vintage rosé is described as ‘a powerful and complex Champagne’, with redcurrant, black and citrus fruits on the nose, and a fresh and creamy palate.
