Charity cross-industry quiz returns

14 January 2016

Venues are invited to sign up for ‘The World’s Biggest Quiz’, a yearly cross-industry event raising money for charities.

Now into its seventh year, organisers PubAid and JustGiving are expecting over 1,300 sites to participate in this year’s event, from pubs to clubs, bars and hotels, raising money for as many as 600 different charities.

The simple online registration is free for venues, with PubAid providing the quiz a week before the event. The only thing you’ll have to provide is a willing quiz master. Customers can then enter their postcode into the event website to find their nearest venue.

Charities can be nominated by individual venues allowing them to help those closer to home.

The quiz will start across all venues at 7:30pm on Sunday 7 February, with venues needing to register by midday on Thursday 4 February.

PubAid is a group that works alongside the press and social media to showcase efforts made by pubs and their customers, who manage to raise over £100m each year through various activities.

Visit the PubAide website to register your venue or find your nearest quiz.
