Conker Spirit launches Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur

09 March 2017

Turning its attention away from our beloved gin, just for a second, Dorset distillery Conker Spirit has launched the 'UK's first' Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.

Described as a complex, fruity brew with intense flavours of espresso, the Conker Spirit team supposedly tried 96 recipes over a year before deciding on the perfect recipe, that of coffee, natural vanillas, caramels and demerara sugar.

The follow-up product from Dorset's first gin distillery, the four-ingredient brew is made using speciality coffee from local Beanpress Coffee Co, who use quality Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee beans. The Brazilian beans are roasted darker and for longer to accentuate the cacao and caramel notes. The Ethiopian coffee is roasted faster and lighter to accentuate the sweetness and natural citrus character, adding a 'zesty highlight' to the blend.

Cold Brew is also free from additives, artificial flavourings and thickeners.

Looking to get your Conker fix? Conker Cold Brew is available to buy through for an RRP of £30.
