Here, an elevated classic from one of London’s best loved bars.

Cool Cocktails: Zombie, Trailer Happiness, London

Authenticity always wins.

What makes this cocktail so much cooler than the million other ersatz Zombies you can get at any two-bit tiki bar across the globe? One word: authenticity – cos this one’s the real deal. Anyone who knows their tiki will know that the Zombie’s creator, Don the Beachcomber, would never divulge the specs to his drinks – even going to the lengths of scraping the labels off the bottles on the bar.

Unlike 99.9% of tiki bars, the crew at Trailer Happiness had access to a hard-to-source cocktail book written posthumously by his wife with the exact ingredients and measurements. Evidence, if ever it was needed, to heed DB’s advice and stick to two servings per sitting. Ooof.
