The new online series comes on the back of the announcement that the 2020 World Class Global Finals in Sydney have been postponed until 2021

Drinks at Home will see videos of the brand ambassadors for Diageo’s premium spirits brands on the World Class GB and Diageo Bar Academy Instagram and Facebook pages, in an effort to educate and entertain the on-trade while they’re at home.

Launching today (25 March 2020), each Drinks at Home instalment will include three short videos, showcasing cocktails recipes and developing skills and techniques. Ambassadors will include Ali Reynolds (Johnnie Walker), Christie Knight (Villa Ascenti), Adam McGurk (Belsazar) and Kate Jackson (Ketel One).

‘Our team of GB brand ambassadors are usually out and about, visiting various bar teams,’ explained Jason Clark, World Class and Talisker GB brand ambassador. ‘Faced with this unusual amount of time at home on our hands, we wanted to put this time to good use and reach out to the bartending community to inspire and educate so that people can stay in touch on social media and learn new skills whilst out of the usual bar environment.

‘A few of the team have some extra skills up their sleeve too – so you might see some added content away from the usual cocktail videos, to keep everyone entertained. We’re all in this together!’

Clark will be kicking off the series today at 1pm. Head over to our events page to see the full lineup.
