Dirty Martini invests in £1.75m regional roll out

31 July 2017

Great news for flavoured Martini lovers, as CG Restaurants & Bars has announced that Dirty Martini is set to expand its portfolio with new acquisitions in Leeds and Birmingham.

Following its announcement for expansion in Manchester earlier this year, which has a planned investment of £1.5m for the conversion of the 6,700-sq. ft three floor retail and office space, Dirty Martini has now acquired a Leeds and Birmingham site, bringing the Dirty Martini estate to 11.

Brummies will be able (subject to conditions) to get their Martini on at 7 Bennetts Hill, a site previously operated by Viva Brazil.

Heading further up north and the people of Leeds can expect to get their Martini fix at 31 King Street. The Leeds site will be acquired from Atlas Brauhaus.

'We are excited about bringing our portfolio up to 11 sites with the Birmingham and Leeds locations,' said Scott Matthews, chief executive officer at Dirty Martini. 'Both have a thriving nightlife and we look forward to being a part of it. Our expansion in Cardiff was a huge success, and as a result we are progressing with our national roll out with confidence.'

'We are delighted to have let the 7 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham site to Dirty Martini,' added Ian Clark from property investor's REI commented. 'The bar will make a fantastic addition to the area, which currently has a great restaurant and bar trade, and we look forward to an ongoing relationship with CG Restaurants & Bars.  This deal was completed off-market and in just over a week and is testament to the approach that both parties took to make it happen so quickly.'

These shiny new openings are scheduled for late 2017...
