The survey follows the charity's financial grant scheme and looks to help shape future help for workers in the drinks industry
While the immediate effects of Covid-19 on the drinks industry have been The Drinks Trust's focus in recent months, now, the industry charity has launched its first Drinks Industry Survey to navigate through the long-term effects.
Focussing on how members of the hospitality and drinks industries feel, what their concerns are and how they feel about diversity and inclusion, the survey will help to evolve the services that The Drinks Trust offer.
Created by We Are Wellbeing in association with Best Bar None, NDML Insurance Specialists, Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) the survey includes four sections: you, your work life, diversity and your wellbeing. It only takes 12 minutes to complete.
'We are very keen to understand the needs of the people within our industry so we can ensure we provide the best possible support to them,' said The Drinks Trust CEO Ross Carter. 'We ask all businesses to share the survey so we can build a comprehensive picture.'
'Never has there been a more important time than now to join forces and support diversity, inclusion and the wellbeing of the night-time industry workforce,' commented operations manager of NTIA, Silvana Kill. 'We are fully committed to helping our community on this journey throughout the pandemic and beyond.'
Andy Romero-Birkbeck, founder and director of We Are Wellbeing added: 'We firmly believe that the success of the drinks and hospitality industry is crucial to the social wellbeing of our society. We will do whatever we can to ensure both businesses and employees are supported throughout.'
