Drinks importer and distributor Drinkscraft has added Herefordshire’s Gravity Theory Cider to its on-trade portfolio
The new draught cider clocks in at 4.5% abv and is made with freshly pressed single-estate apples in Herefordshire. The recipe involves classic cider apple varieties such as Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, Harry Masters Jersey, and Michelin. It’s fermented and matured for a minimum of six months.
‘As former head of sales at Hawkes Cider, I was regularly asked to recommend any new independent ciders, so it was obvious there was demand in the market for more choice,’ said Drinkscraft founder David Bridge-Collyns.
Gravity Theory pours deep golden in colour. The nose shows intense aromas of baked apples, blossom, honey and a hint of almond. The palate displays a soft carbonation; it’s elegantly balanced with light tannins and a gentle sweetness, while the finish is refreshing and moderately long.
