Craft vermouth brand El Bandarra has launched Barcelona’s latest obsession - a new Vermut Rosé, which will be making its UK debut at Imbibe Live at Olympia on 1st and 2nd July 2019.
Joining the Red and White in the colourful El Bandarra range, the beautifully pink El Bandarra Vermut Rosé offers sumptuous summer-time refreshment and is the lightest and freshest of the trio, containing 30% less sugar.
Made with Rosé Grenache, macerated red fruit and fresh herbs including thyme and rosemary, the new Vermut Rosé is available in a stylish 1 litre swing top bottle, a 15 litre Bag in Box and 30 litre kegs.
With a little help from The Vermouth Van and Bandarra Fountain, the El Bandarra team will be recreating a Barcelona terrace outside the front entrance of Imbibe Live to help visitors discover how to enjoy vermouth – the El Bandarra way.
The El Bandarra trio will be showcased in classic Catalonian tradition - straight up over ice, with olives and a slice - but a contender for 'drink of the summer' - a Bandarra Rosé & Tonic (B&T) - will also be available for guests to try. Refreshing, citric and sweet with intense aromas and layers of complex flavour, the B&T also makes a great option for a lower ABV serve.

It tastes like summer should. Starting with vanilla flavours on the tip of the tongue, followed by layers of strawberries and ripe cherries on the palate and finishing with a beautiful acidity from the altitude of the grapes.
Alex Virgili, El Bandarra's Co-Founder, said:
“We won’t rest until vermut is being celebrated across the world so we have a lot of big plans to continue stealing more drinkers away from other drinks categories and to ensure the vermouth category is the most exciting around. Our unique Vermut fountain is on its way to the UK, the Vermouth Van is good to go and this new Rosé, which has been two years in the making, is the cherry on top! Sweet, refreshing and so very moreish, it’s going to be HUGE!”
Love Drinks’ Founder Kirsty Loveday said:
“As a company we love to challenge the status quo and disrupt so it’s fantastic to work with likeminded spirits such as the El Bandarra crew. They are doing a brilliant job showcasing vermouth as the fun adventurous drink that it is, so we’re so excited about the summer ahead. The new Rosé is a brilliant example of El Bandarra’s innovative team and further strengthens our offering as the buzz for vermouth and all things pink increases.”
