The ETM Group is set to open a new pub said to the first of its kind, which will be free from packaging and include both an on-site micro-brewery and micro-distillery, as well as an urban farm.
The Long Arm Pub & Brewery is set to open on East London’s Worship Street later this month.
Long Arm beers will be served fresh from tank to glass, cutting out need for kegs, cask or bottling. The beer will be additive and chemical-free, unfiltered, and unpasteurised and will be dispensed from six 1,000 litre tanks.
Third generation brewer, Guillermo Alvarez Schulenburg will be in charge of the regularly rotating six-strong range, which will always include a lager, pale ale, IPA, stout and a low strength brew as well as a guest beer.
The group is also set to work with The Craft Distilling Business to produce its own small-batch gin from a 50-litre copper and steel still. It will also produce natural extracts that will be used in cooking and brewing.
'Our Long Arm Brewery in Ealing has been producing exceptional beers and our latest opening combines my passion for brewing with my love of hospitality,' co-founder Ed Martin said. 'Guillermo’s knowledge of the brewing process is second to none and I am confident that the increasingly quality-driven beer drinker will be excited by our dynamic selection of brews.'
