Scott Macdonald, the former managing director of casual dining chain Bill’s, has been hired by Revolution Bars Group as its new director of food.
Macdonald will be responsible for reinforcing the development of the food across vodka bar, Revolution and the rum-focused, Revolución de Cuba’s 67 sites. He will also oversee concept innovation to support the next level of growth for the business, the company said.
At Bill’s, he is credited as being 'the driving force' behind the roll out of 68 restaurants over four years.
'Scott will be instrumental in further enhancing food innovation within the group,' Mark McQuater, CEO of Revolution Bars Group, said. 'His wealth of experience and fresh approach will support Revolution’s continued growth as we move forward and further develop our food offering.'
Macdonald himself added: 'I’m delighted to be working with Revolution Bars Group. The company has a reputation for forward-thinking and I welcome the opportunity to work with them to help evolve the business further and be part of its continued success.'
