Fladgate Partnership releases 2015 Vintage Ports

Keeping with tradition, The Fladgate Partnership announced on St. George's Day it will bottle 2015 Vintage Ports and a commemorative Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage to mark the company's bicentenary.

Taylor’s Quinta de Vargellas and Croft’s Quinta da Roêda (2015), are the product of a harvest managing director Adrian Bridge describes as creating 'excellent, but distinctly different wines from our individual properties'.

'Quinta de Vargellas displays all the balance and elegance that are the hallmarks of the property and has the structure and completeness which will allow it to hold up extremely well in the bottle,' he added.

Bridge says the Guimaraens 2015 will make superb early drinking, but won't disappoint those who wish to cellar it until a later date.

The 2015 Single Quinta Vintage Ports from Taylor’s, Fonseca and Croft will be offered on allocation to the trade through UK agents Mentzendorff & Co and will ship at the end of 2017. Pricing yet to be announced.
