Following an expansion project to double its brewing capacity, Gipsy Hill Brewing has announced a new core range.

The London-based brewery has upped the permanent fixtures from two to six beers, with the four new brews being the improved recipes of former limited releases.

'Five years, and 700 brews, down the road and we figured it was time to take a moment, look back and reflect for a second on where we’ve come from, then think about where we’re going,' commented Gipsy Hill co-founder Sam McMeekin.

The new core range, available in keg and can, consists of: Carver, a 2.8% abv IPA with with 'tropical aromas and a smooth juicy taste'; Bandit, the 'reincarnation' of Gipsy Hill's flagship Beatnik Pale Ale, now gluten-free certified; Ranger, a 'clean, balanced and zesty pale ale'; Hepcat, a session IPA; Hunter, an unfiltered helles-style lager, cold-conditioned for 40 days; and Baller, a fuller-bodied IPA with an abv of 5.4%.

Gipsy Hill will officially launch the new core lineup on 11 October at a series of tap takeovers in venues across the country, including London's Gipsy Hill Taproom, Northern Monk Refectory in Leeds and Manchester, The Free Trade Inn in Newcastle, and Salt Horse in Edinburgh.
