Restaurant operator Rhubarb has agreed a £60m contract with the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex to supply its key festival events.

Rhubarb, which also operates as an event caterer, will focus on English dishes made using ingredients from nearby to the estate. The company has sites at Heathrow Airport, Saatchi Gallery, the Royal Albert Hall and the newly opened Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street.

The new contract will begin on March 16, as Goodwood’s event calendar kicks off. Festivals including the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and 19 days of racing including the Qatar Goodwood Festival, attract over 800,000 visitors annually.

PB Jacobse, managing director at Rhubarb said: 'We are incredibly proud to have been chosen by Goodwood and to be a part of the world’s leading sporting estate. This win is a real credit to Rhubarb and testament to the work we do every day across our portfolio. We look forward to working with the Goodwood team and to bringing a touch of Rhubarb magic to this historical estate.'
