G’Vine Nouaison gets global launch

From the creator of Cîroc and La Quintinye Vermouth, comes another G’Vine: Nouaison. If you’re thinking we’ve gone mad and this has been around for a while, then bear with us.

Nouaison – meaning ‘setting’ – is already on the market but it’s being phased out to make way for this new, improved gin with the same name.

Jean-Sébastien Robicquet’s new Nouaison is a celebration of the grape berry and the gin’s home in Villevert, France.

Fourteen botanicals, including Sandalwood, bergamot, prune and vetiveria, grace the latest G’Vine. A discontinuous 25HL pot still inspired by the traditional Charente style shape is used to blend the botanicals and create a cracking gin, which would sing in a Negroni (see below).

Negroni à la française

Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Orange peel
Method: Gently blend ingredients in a mixing glass and strain into an old-fashioned glass over a large sphere ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel twist.

45 ml Nouaison gin
45 ml La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge
1 dash orange bitters
