Nebula is a neighbourhood pizza, beer and cocktail joint on the Hackney Road due to open this weekend (Saturday 12 September)

The bar, styled as a 'neighbourhood oasis with cosmopolitan spirit' has been created by Brown alongside Shane Long (founder and owner of the Franciscan Well Brew Pub), and will be led by Sam Morgan (ex-Star and MEAT).

The cocktail menu will be headed by the bar’s signature Nebula Negroni, which has a ‘herbaceous twist’ and will be available to take away in bottles or eco-friendly reusable pouches. The rest of the menu includes three spritzes, three highballs, and three low-balls plus three straight-up, easy drinking serves.

All the drinks have an emphasis on local, with house gin and vodka made a stone’s throw away by 58 Gin and East London Liquor Co, while the wines are sourced from Renegade Winery in Bethnal Green and many of the beers are brewed in east London.

The site has space for 200 covers. Outside is a lushly planted courtyard and inside the pink bartop is made from recycled plastics and glass.

Nebula will be open from midday until 11pm, seven days a week.
