Instil Drinks, the spirits branch of Bibendum PLB, has grown its liqueur portfolio by taking on two new brands, Quenza and Combier.

Quenza is new to the UK, coming to us from Spain via Hijos de Rivera, the parent company of Estrella Galicia. A decade-old company, its range over here includes a cream liqueur with hints of cinnamon, a naturally roasted coffee flavoured liqueur, a herb liqueur and a Galician style grappa.

French liqueur company Combier joins Instil from Sip Or Mix. The range includes its well-known triple sec, along with a host of herbal and fruit liqueurs (one of which co-topped our liqueur tasting back in March).

Mark Johnson, MD of Instil Drinks Co says: ‘We are delighted to be adding these fantastic liqueurs to our portfolio. Both Combier and Hijos de Rivera produce liqueurs of the highest quality and we are looking forward to being able to offer them to our customers. Liqueurs are essential components to many a cocktail recipe so are a must list for bars and restaurants – the quality, value and variety that Quenza and Combier can offer make them a very exciting proposition for us.’

These two join a portfolio that already includes Pococello Limoncello, elderflower liqueur Fiorente and hazelnut liqueur Fratello.
