Profits from Keeping Faith With Paloma, a collaboration between the tequila brand, Lucky Liquor Co. and Mothership Scotland, will be donated to The Drinks Trust

The cocktail has been created to celebrate World Paloma Day on Friday 22 May. Priced at £8, the cocktails should be ordered before 11.59pm on Tuesday 19 May in order for them to arrive in time for the big day.

Keeping Faith With Paloma has been created by bartenders Jason Scott and Mike Aikman, and is a mix of Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado, lime juice, golden grapefruit juice and agave syrup and comes with a bottle of Bon Accord x Lucky Liquor Co. Salted Pink Grapefruit Soda.

The classic Mexican cocktail has a mixed, uncertain history, with some crediting Don Javier Delgado Corona, owner and bartender of La Capilla, in Tequila, Mexico, with its creation. Others claim it was named after La Paloma (The Dove) a popular folk song from the 1860s.

Get your hands on a bottle online from Mothership Scotland and raise a glass on Friday!
