Following its official launch earlier this year, co-founders Xavier Rousset MS and Gearoid Devaney MS’ new members club Trade has now opened its waiting list and is accepting second round memberships. Aspiring members must be associated with the hospitality industry and can apply for a discount if local or under the age of 25.

‘It’s such a buzz to walk into Trade any time of day or night and see familiar faces from all corners of the [hospitality] industry relaxing, doing business or letting their hair down,’ said Devaney.

Opened in January, Trade has already established itself as a meeting and socialising space for its diverse range of hospitality professional members. The club was designed to become a ‘hotbed for networking, idea-sharing, training and inspiring the next generation of talented individuals’, with a focus on quality food and drinks with industry-friendly price tags.

‘Seeing the club take shape these past few months has been an honour and a joy,’ Rousset commented. ‘We are nothing without our members, so will keep encouraging member feedback to ensure the club evolves as a true reflection of our industry.’

A key feature of Trade is its wine offering, especially its 'Black Book' of limited stock labels, which Rousset said has been well received and has already achieved ‘legendary status’.
