The drink, dubbed Jukes 2, is the wine writer's no-abv interpretation of an autumnal red wine
Jukes 2 is designed to accompany the seasonal 'transition into wild game, mushrooms, truffles, late vegetables and hedgerow fruit, all layered with forestry, autumnal nuances'. These flavours, says the brand, are reflected into the aromatic profile of the drink.
To make the 'Autumnal Red', Jukes macerates fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices in apple cider vinegar. The result is a drink that can be enjoyed mixed with cold still, sparkling or even tonic water.
The launch follows Jukes 8, a limited-edition no-abv 'rosé' that was launched to the market in the summer and Jukes 1, a 'white' that saw the light last spring.
