A new range of no-abv distillates, Kvîst, has been created by The Bloomsbury Club UK

Kvîst, an Old Norse word that translates as 'twig' or 'botany', is a duo of non-alcoholic spirits inspired by Nordic flavours.

The recipe of the base expression includes eight botanicals: juniper, silver birch, cascarilla bark, gentian, rhubarb root, orange peel, cardamom and pimento.

Kvîst's two variants are Kvîst Classica, led by juniper and citrus aromas, and Kvîst Rosa, which is infused with herb and spice bitters to resemble a pink gin.

Kvîst is produced by using a copper pot still, in which the 'macerating botanicals are individually distilled in neutral grain spirit and pure water'. The alcohol is removed before bottling.

RRP £12-£14/700ml, Craftwork, sales@craftwork.uk.com
